Arcade Assistant
Tell Arcade Assistant what you want to play, or what isn’t working. It helps you find your way through the software and handles supported settings changes through conversation.
It comes with every G&G Arcade cabinet at no extra charge for as long as you own it. You can ask a question in ordinary language without knowing which configuration file sits behind the answer.
Start with what you want to do
- Find something to play: Ask LaunchBox Lora for a game you remember, or give her a starting point and explore what’s on your cabinet.
- Get a control working properly: Controller Chuck diagnoses arcade-control mapping problems and makes supported configuration fixes. Control-a-Wizard handles supported handheld and USB controller configurations.
- Change the button lighting: L.E.D. Blinky handles supported lighting settings, including game-specific preferences.
- See who holds the record: Scorekeeper Sam keeps recorded high scores and helps organize tournament brackets.
Who handles what
Each specialist has a particular job. Dewey is a place to start when you have a general question or do not know which specialist you need. Gunner handles RetroShooter setup and game-specific configuration problems. Doc provides available temperature readings and drive-health information, then helps with supported software issues.
Improvements reach your cabinet through the cloud
Arcade Assistant is cloud-connected, so supported software improvements can reach your cabinet as the service develops.
Why Arcade Assistant is part of the cabinet
A cabinet can be well built and still be frustrating when the software gets in the way. Arcade Assistant gives you somewhere to start when that happens.
No separate Arcade Assistant subscription.
